FEES:
DCSA (State) $95.00 club
membership fee.
MSSF (Memphis Shelby Soccer
Federation) approx. $82.00 per player each season. This includes the fees
associated with Mike Rose Soccer
Complex but not referee fees. Indoor is an option for winter time play.
Club fees: $35.00 per month, outlined below.
Uniforms: TBD by vendor but presently three
jerseys, three socks, two shorts, one training shirt and one bag are $160.00.
FINANCES:
Each team will have its own
checking account for team level use. The team will send the $35.00 per month
per player club fee to the club and reimburse the club for any purchases it
makes on behalf of the team.
The club account should be
used for club level purchases (equipment, uniforms, coaches
fees). Everything else should be managed at the team level.(tournament
fees, referee fees, etc)

Competitive Board:
The 2nd Vice
President of DCSA will default to the laison of the
competitive group to maintain the tie in back to the parent group.
The competitive board shall

Long-term goals:
1.
An
exclusive practice facility. Build money up in the club fund through
fundraisers, sponsors, etc. and buy goals, lights, etc.
2.
Sponsors
for scholarships. Instead of putting the burden back on the club's finances
find local businesses to sponsor financial hardship cases.
3.
Possibility
of starting a TOP SOCCER program. This is a program for handicapped children
and would be managed by the older age teams.
4.
Older
age players returning to DCSA to coach in the recreational and eventually the
competitive ranks.
5.
Feeder
program for local high schools and colleges.
Guidelines:
1.
Club
Fee: $35.00 per month per player. No pay no play.
2.
Coaches
Payment: $300.00 per month.
3.
Any
remaining portion of Club Fee goes into the club. Goals for practice area,
bibs, practice balls, game balls, administrative uses, etc. The money is
allocated back to the teams in the order of contribution and then need. If at
the end of the year there is a reserve coaches may apply for a scholarship to
take their next level license. The criteria for, and
availability of granting the scholarships will be determined by the competitive
board.
4.
Teams
will play league matches in MSSF when available and they are not required to be
in MYSA league play.
5.
Teams
will make a minimum of one tournament per season.
6.
Teams
pay coaches lodgings at tournaments. (customary)
7.
1
session of skills and fitness a week. (Supervised by ALL coaches in the
program)
8.
2
nights a week field practice.
9.
No
coach will have more than two teams per season.
10.
No
coach will stay with a player for more than two years unless the situation is
completely unavoidable.
11.
No
age bracket jumps unless the team will not form otherwise AND both coaches
involved sign off the move.
12.
Issues
that cannot be resolved at the team level (team administrator, head coach) will
be brought to the DCSA Vice President of competitive. If it cannot then be
resolved it will be present to the DCSA board.
13.
Gender
specific teams.
14.
A
child will not play for their parent unless the situation is unavoidable.
15.
Each
team will have a manager. (Team mom)
Under 11/12:
Division 1.
1.
Coach
must hold: (in order of preference) NYCL, NSCAA Youth National, YL III or USSF
E or higher. No license, no coach. No exceptions.
2.
Assistant
coaches are on a volunteer, as needed basis. Assistant coaches may NOT fill in
for coaches at matches unless the situation is completely unavoidable.
Under 13/14:
Division 1.
1.
Coach
must hold: (in order of preference) USSF D, USSF E, NYCL, NCSAA Youth National,
or YL III.
2.
Assistant
coaches are on a volunteer, as needed basis. Assistant coaches may NOT fill in
for coaches at matches unless licensed.
Under
15 and up.
Division 1.
1.
Coach
must hold a minimum USSF D. Preference to a C or higher.
2.
Assistant
coaches are on a volunteer, as needed basis. Assistant coaches may NOT fill in
for coaches at matches unless licensed.
If a coaches
attendance becomes an issue the matter will be brought before the competitive
board where removal/suspension of the coach will be reviewed.
