Field Status

The decision is made by the city of DeSoto Parks and Recreation Department. They make the decisions as early as possible, but it may be up until 5:00pm on a weekday before a final decision is made.  The most timely field updates are available on Facebook.  Our rainout number is 972-230-9652.​​

About DSA

DeSoto Soccer Association (DSA) is a volunteer organization formed in 1979 to promote the development of recreational youth players and coaches in the DeSoto (Texas) ISD.  DSA is a member of the North Texas State Soccer Association (NTSSA) and operates under its by-laws. Additionally, DSA is a member of Best Southwest Soccer Association formed to facilitate inter-league play in the southwestern Dallas and Ellis Counties.

 

NTSSA is a Texas non-profit, 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Corporation formed to promote, foster, and advance the cause of soccer for youth and adults within its territory. North Texas Soccer is a member of United States Youth and Amateur Soccer Associations, United States Soccer Federation and Federation International de Football Association.

 

Recreational soccer is defined as a developmental program providing healthy activity, emphasizing enjoyment, and development over competition.
